It is considered the finest English Garden in the United States. The house is furnished with fine antiques and decorative arts. Then continue to Sag Harbor for your 3-night stay at Barons Cove Inn. Dinner is included tonight. Tuesday, September 28 Relax this
morning as you are served breakfast in bed by the staff of Baron’s Cove Inn.
What a way to start the day! Then depart on a day of sightseeing with your local
escort. Tour of Sag Harbor and visit the Whaling Museum, the Old Whaler’s
Church and the Fireman’s Museum. Continue thru the Hamptons past the beautiful
homes of TV stars, actors, the captains of industry and famous heiresses. There
will be time to explore Southampton before sampling some wine at a local
vineyard. Return to the inn with
time to relax before dinner. Wednesday, September 29 Following breakfast, another day of sightseeing awaits. Depart for the tip of Long Island and stop at the Montauk Lighthouse. The light house was the first to be built within the state of New York and is the fourth oldest active lighthouse in the United States. Then continue to East Hampton to the LongHouse Reserve. Through its gallery, arboretum, sculpture gardens, and educational programs, LongHouse brings together art and nature, aesthetics and spirit. Tonight dinner is on your own at one of the local bistros in Sag Harbor. Thursday, September 30 After your
included breakfast, depart for Sagamore Hill, the home of the 26th president,
Teddy Roosevelt. Take a tour of the house he called home from 1885 until his
death in 1919. It was also the summer White House from 1902 - 1908. During that
time, Roosevelt used his home to host luminaries from around the
country and around the world. There will be a stop for lunch in Oyster Bay
before departing for home, arriving about 5:00 pm. Your
